Florida Lighthouse Day

Join us as we celebrate Florida Lighthouse Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Cape St. George Light! In honor of this special day recognizing Florida’s historic lighthouses and their important role in our maritime history, we will be offering FREE climbs to everyone.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience one of the most unique historic landmarks on St. George Island. Climb to the top of the lighthouse, take in the beautiful views, and learn about the fascinating history and historical importance of the Cape St. George Light and the keepers who once maintained it.

We invite the community and visitors alike to come out, explore the lighthouse, and spend Florida Lighthouse Day with us learning about the history that makes this landmark so special.
